Sneha Sparsham - Charity Event

St George Indian Orthodox Church, Manchester is a registered charity.  Since its inception in 2005 the charity has been supporting many individuals and organisations here in the UK and in India.

In the tradition of our Christian values and following in our Lord Jesus Christ's footsteps, as a small effort this financial year we are organising a fundraising event named Sneha Sparsham (A Touch of Love), in aid of Paulose Mar Pachomios Shalem Bhavan, Mavelikkara, India.

The main objective of this organisation is to provide free, comprehensive home based and cost-effective mental health care to the most deserving people near and far. This centre currently serves as a care and rehabilitation home for male residents who suffer from psychiatric conditions.

We are conducting an entertainment evening on Saturday 15th of February 2020, at 16:00 to 20:00 at Our Lady of Lourdes R C Primary School, Beech Ave, Farnworth, Bolton, BL4 0BP. A UK based Malayalam music band - Symphony Orchestra from Keighly will be leading the entertainment programmes. Few local dance groups will also be performing in this evening.

All the funds raised will be donated to the centre. The funds will be used towards the centres cost to provide basic amenities and to accommodate more individuals requiring the specialised psychiatric care.
